I have had years of experience in management, marketing, sales, and working in business-to-business environments. Served in various capacities in community service, and actively promoted our community with our golf and tourism magazine for the past twelve years.

Do you have any management training or experience? If so, please elaborate

For the past twelve years, I have served as Publisher for a golf and tourism magazine based in South Alabama. Over that time, I have worked with area business owners and their personnel, and promoted the largest golf events on the Gulf Coast. My profession has demanded constant skills in management, time supervision, diplomacy, and interacting with International celebrities, heads of Charities, local and national businessmen, and women, and keeping it organized and running smoothly.

Your personal goals

My personal goal is to continue to enjoy my life in Daphne, serve the community, the church, and watch my grandchildren grow up to be decent men and women.

Your political goals

My political goal is to create a better quality of life for our family and my fellow citizens.

Why are you seeking this office?

A couple of years ago at the dedication of our new church sanctuary our Pastor thanked everyone for coming, but added that his goal wasn’t to fill the seats, but to attract people that really wanted to make a difference in life. He went on to say that if the only reason you came was to soak up the ac, and listen to the band then perhaps you would be happier stopping somewhere else next Sunday.
His bold action struck a chord in me, and when this election came up I decided to quit whining about the state of the world and do something about it, this is my first stop.

What is the platform of your election?

It started with the idea’s of raising property value’s, lowering insurance rates, and being fiscally responsible, but after several weeks of going door to door talking to my neighbors many other issue’s have come to light. The lake is a huge problem that could be turned into a huge advantage, street flooding, dangerous curves, driveway exits, and sidewalks all seem to be concerns that need addressing. It seems that Lake Forest has lots of issue’s and needs someone to champion them

What makes you the most qualified person for this office?

It’s a tough question to answer unless you’re a politician, which I’m not. I have lots of experience solving problems, I’m tight with a dollar, known for my common sense ideas, and am as tenacious as a bulldog.
